If your tastes run to the ultra-modern rather than the traditional, then the Aviator Hotel in Farnborough Hampshire may just be the perfect place for your wedding celebration. From the sweeping modern lines of the exterior to the stylish but comfortable interior, it’s definitely different from most hotels and country wedding venues.
The hotel is owned by TAG Group, whose other ventures include TAG-Heuer luxury watches and sponsorship of the Williams and McLaren Formula One racing teams. They also own Farnborough Airport which is adjacent to the hotel (handy if your guests are flying in by private jet!)
It doesn’t have the large public spaces of bigger venues, but for a relaxed and intimate wedding it’s perfect.
The central atrium with its four levels and sweeping staircase is stunning, and a good place for photos of your guests and the bride and groom.
There is a separate entrance and reception room for the exclusive use of your guests.
The hotel is licensed for civil ceremonies so you can host your whole day there if you wish.
Wedding receptions are often held in the Sky Lounge on the fourth floor, which can accommodate smaller weddings and has room for a dancefloor. For larger weddings you can have exclusive use of the events wing.
